Brougham ConvertiCoop Kit

After many, many emails from people who are not ready to trust themselves with a miter saw, I am now happy to offer you an alternative: the Catawba ConvertiCoop Brougham kit.

This kit is based on my original Do It Yourself coop plans and is cut from pressure treated and white board lumber. I'll pack all the pieces you will need to assemble your Brougham ConvertiCoop. You'll need a tape measure and some kind of drill to complete the kit.

Shipping:
Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery via less-than-load (LTL) freight company. This is not a lightweight parcel. It is 8'x2'x10" and weighs in the neighborhood of 200 lbs. 

Delivery charges will be Cash On Delivery and are the responsibility of the buyer. Since I'm not in the business of making money on the shipping, you will be charged directly by the freight company driver when they drop off your coop. You must be available to take delivery. The freight company will call you to arrange a delivery time.

You will save a wad on money if your kit is delivered to a freight terminal, or to a business address with a loading dock. The residential delivery surcharge is about $50, and lift gate delivery will add an additional $65 to your shipping costs.

It's a lot less expensive to rent a small UHaul and drive to the freight terminal. And if you have a buddy who works at a place with a loading dock, I understand that a six pack of beer can go a long way.
