CatawbaCoops.com Affiliate Program

Hate reading? Here's a link to my affiliate site. Otherwise, proceed on.

I like affiliate programs a lot. They're good for a couple of things. Okay, really they're good for one thing... free money.

As the webmaster of CatawbaCoops.com, I decided that I wanted some free money. The thing is, I had to find something that I wanted to feature on my website that I liked and thought would get other people's attention as well. Since I have a personal love of bees as well as chickens, I thought, "Hey, why not sell some bee stuff on my website. It's my site, and I can put whatever I want to on it!" Hence, you get the political soapbox that is my Chicken Blog

I found a guy named Corwin Bell who, like myself, was a home-based entreprenuer, and had a very cool product in his topbar bee hives. I signed up for his affiliate program and started featuring his hives here at CatawbaCoops.com. They're really neat hives that let the bees create natural combs and environments for themselves. I personally bought a set of his top bars so that I could build my own hive this winter and populate it with bees in the spring.

Several visitors to this site have decided that they too wanted to get involved in bees. When they bought something FROM THIS PAGE (subtle eh?), Corwin sent me an email that said, "Hey man, we got an order from your website. Here's some free money for helping us out!" Wow... that's cool.

I haven't gotten rich peddling bee hives for him, but it has paid for some nice dinners for me and the Mrs.

Just like Corwin sends me free money, I want to send you free money too. I spent the good portion of the day figuring out how to run an affiliate program for CatawbaCoops.com and installing it on the server*. I ran a test purchase through it and LO AND BEHOLD, the thing works!

Here's how it works.

  • You sign up for the affiliate program at http://affiliate.CatawbaCoops.com
  • I'm going to start you out with a $5.00 sign-on bonus to get you on your merry way
  • Place some code or images on your website or in your emails to your buddies that link to CatawbaCoops.com
  • When they buy a set of plans from me, I'll credit your account $5.00
    • When I get these coop kits manufactured (it's coming soon, I promise), I'll really make it worth your while.
  • When your account hits $25 or more, I'll send you the fundage via Paypal or check the first of every month.
  • While you're at it, why don't you sign up for Corwin's affiliate program as well. Click the link that says Affiliates in the upper right corner

You ask me, "Dave, is it just that easy?" Well, it's just that easy! So if you like my coops and think you're a better marketer of them than I am, I am all about bringing you onboard and compensating you for your efforts. Chances are, you probably are a better marketer than me. Go to http://affiliate.CatawbaCoops.com to get started.

Regards,
Dave

*Why do PHP coders write their stuff using IonCube to obfuscate their code? This stuff drives me crazy trying to figure it out. I mean, seriously... PHP is all about the opensource. When I add something cool to this website, I always donate something to the developer.... grrr.
