Wake Forest officials vote to allow chickens
WRAL - Wake Forest, N.C. — The Board of Commissioners voted Tuesday to amend the city’s livestock ordinance, Commissioner Margaret Stinnett said. The ordinance will allow a limited number of hens, but prohibit roosters. Stinnett said the new ordinance will make sure chickens will not be used for commercial purposes. Commissioners are expected to formally vote on the new ordinance in September.
